I also had the most contact with our sound designers, and made concept music/effects, some of which got in the final game.
ReArmed is a top-down space shooter, but with a twist when it comes to conventional space shooter weapon mechanics. Instead of picking up power-ups, the player can "re-arm" themselves with the weapons of the enemies. The reason why the player would want to change weapon is because different weapons deal different amounts of damage depending on the enemy type. ReArmed features 4 unique enemies that attack in increasing amounts. The game features 1 level, with various space themed props.
The goal with the game was to create an arcade style shooter where you try to gather as many points as possible while staying alive.
